I look forward to helping your favorite pal and meeting you.
Therapeutic massage is a non-invasive therapy. That can be incorporated into the total health care regimen of your canine friend. Therapeutic massage is used to promote general well-being, boost circulatory and immune systems encouraging circulation, muscle tone, digestion and skin tone. It greatly contributes to relaxing the nervous system to promote wellness. It can help old and convalescing dogs, as circulation is stimulated, toxins are removed from the tissues and nutrients are supplied, decrease atrophy of muscle tissue, pain relief, keep joints lubricated and flexible, enhance respiratory function, aid in emotional adjustment and maintain muscle tone, range of motion and flexibility.
Sports massage is used pre-event to increase blood flow to the muscles, energize and prepare muscles before an event or exercise to help prevent injury and promote flexibility.
An overview of the benefits of massage:
Increase blood circulation, Increase lymph movement, muscle health and emotional health.
There are also massage benefits for puppies. Through the blood circulation, growing bones receive their nutrients. Massage can also calm and bring a puppy’s awareness inward.
I recently took a Healing Touch for Animal Course: I am currently in a continued certification process, so I may call myself a practitioner.
